These select photographs chronicle my personal meditations in nature, moving from the stark deserts to underwater depths, and up to the high alpine mountains. In these diverse, elemental landscapes, I explore what it means to feel deeply into being—immersing myself in the raw forces of the earth, letting go of the self, and connecting to something greater than my individual character. The works are an amalgamation of my own images and those created by other photographers, allowing me to challenge myself by becoming the subject. Through submission, trust, and vulnerability, I learn to see myself and the world beyond what I believe it to be, discovering deeper truths in the contrasts of nature’s most extreme environments.
